Baruipur subdivision is a subdivision of the South 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India. It consists of three municipalities (Baruipur, Rajpur Sonarpur and Jaynagar Mazilpur) and seven community development blocks: Baruipur, Bhangar–I, Bhangar–II, Jaynagar–I, Jaynagar–II, Kultali and Sonarpur. The seven blocks contain two census towns and 80 gram panchayats. The subdivision has its headquarters at Baruipur. ==Area== Apart from the municipalities of Baruipur, Rajpur Sonarpur and Jaynagar Mazilpur, the subdivision contains two census towns and rural areas of 80 gram panchayats under seven community development blocks: Baruipur, Bhangar–I, Bhangar–II, Jaynagar–I, Jaynagar–II, Kultali and Sonarpur.
